Why there is a build fee

The monthly plan runs the site. The build fee makes it.

Before a site can be managed month to month, somebody has to build it around your real sale: your lanes, your run list, your condition reports. That one-off piece of work is what this fee pays for.

What it pays for

  • Design and build of every page, written around your lanes, sale days and sale formats.
  • The run list and condition report layouts, built to your own documents rather than a template.
  • Migration of a current site, with the old URLs redirected so bookmarks and rankings survive.
  • Buyer registration wired into your CRM and tested with a real submission before launch.

What it does not touch

  • Your monthly plan. It is billed on its own subscription, and paying this fee does not change it.
  • Revisions after launch. Those sit inside the plan, not inside the build.
  • Anything recurring. This is one charge, taken once, and it never renews.

    Card details go to Stripe, not to us. We never see or store your card number.

  3. Receipt

    A receipt lands in your inbox

    Stripe emails the receipt straight away, and we send a short confirmation that the build fee is settled.

  4. Done

    Nothing else is due for the build

    This is a single charge. There is no second instalment, and nothing renews.

Questions about the build fee

Is this a subscription?

No. The build fee is a single $697 payment, taken once. Your monthly plan is a separate subscription, and paying this page does not start, stop or change it.

Do I need to pay this?

Only if we have told you a build fee is due, usually on an invoice after launch. Plans started on or before December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived, so if your plan began in that window there is nothing to pay here.

Why is the amount the same on every plan?

The build is the same careful piece of work whichever plan you are on: the pages, the run list and condition report layouts, migration and the CRM hookup. The plans differ in what runs on top of the site each month, which is what the monthly price covers.

Is paying here safe?

Yes. The button opens a Stripe checkout page over an encrypted connection. Your card details go to Stripe, which handles the payment, and they never reach our servers.

Can the build fee be refunded?

All sales are final, and that includes the build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by us, reported within 30 days. The full terms are in our refund policy.
